Clever design uses “air-pruning” effect to encourage a dense and fibrous radial root system

Effectively eliminates root circling around the sides of the pot

Makes the most of the container size you use

Reduces the time it takes to develop a thick root system

Helps to create a root-system that is not possible in conventional pots

Better Aeration, better growth!

Air pruning pot, which is called "air pot" in Europe, is an incredible innovation in container gardening. These are very well designed, easily stored containers that encourage vigorous growth and outstanding performance. First of all, these containers can be disassembled after use and stored flat, taking up very little space between grows. Transplanting is extremely easy. Just detach the connectors and then the container, like a collar, will open up and be easy access to the plant's root ball. Your plant can be moved outside or to a bigger container with a minimum of stress and damage.

The unique cone design of the container surface grows an extremely healthy root mass. Root tendrils grow into the side of the container and are either air pruned (causing branching growth inside the container) or are redirected back to the center of the container. In conventional round plastic pots, roots grow to the container side then circle around. The plant can easily become root-bound without utilizing the full volume of the container. Also, with roots concentrated around the outside of the container, plants are more likely to be shocked during transplanting, and are also more subject to heat stress, since all the roots are concentrated near the outside of the pot where temperatures are more likely to vary.

Each air pot comes with fasteners and base.
